Right to Free Resolution
Under the terms of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, the consumer has the right to freely terminate this contract within 14 calendar days, without the need to indicate any reason. The period for exercising the right of free resolution expires 14 days from the day following the day on which you acquire or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the good(s).
In order to exercise your right of free termination, you must communicate to us, through our contact details, your decision to terminate this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or electronic mail or the form below). You can use the resolution form template, but it is not required. You also have the possibility of completing and electronically submitting the free withdrawal form model or any other unequivocal declaration of withdrawal through our website https://www.biucosmetics.pt. If you make use of this possibility, we will send you, by email, an acknowledgment of receipt of the resolution request within 24 hours (business days). For the free resolution period to be respected, it is enough that your communication regarding the exercise of the right to free resolution is sent before the end of the resolution period.

 

Effects of Free Resolution
In the event of termination of this contract, all payments made will be refunded, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a shipping method other than the least expensive standard shipping method offered by us), without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to terminate this contract. We make these refunds using the same payment method that you used in the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any costs as a consequence of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods, or until you provide proof of dispatch of the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your free termination of the contract. The deadline is considered to have been respected if you return the goods before the end of the 14-day period.

You have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only responsible for the depreciation of the goods resulting from handling that exceeds what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
